In recent years, Javea has become a tourist destination highly prized by the international public. And it's easy to understand why. With more than 20 kilometres of coast, Javea has the largest variety of coves and beaches in the entire province of Alicante, offering varieties for all tastes.
From Cabo San Antonio, which separates Javea from the neighbouring town of Denia, to the Cap Prim, we find the variety of flatter beaches, such as Playa de la Grava, which is located near the picturesque port. The Playa del Montañar forms an extensive flat promenade, popular for cyclists and runners. Along the coast there are distributed several beach bars or chiringuitos where enjoy a mojito with beautiful views and sea breeze.
For those who prefer sandy beaches, the cosmopolitan and multicultural Arenal Beach is the best option, with great gastronomic offer and nightlife.
Another extensive rocky beach links the Arenal with Cala Blanca, the first of a large number of beautiful coves along the coast, frequented by swimmers on the beach and boats on the sea. Cala Sardinera is appreciated for its privacy because to reach it we need to do a walk of about 20 minutes that then continues to the Cap Prim.
The attraction of the Playa de la Barraca are the traditional houses of the fishermen, renovated that could be rented to enjoy the holiday in front line of the sea. Playa del Ambolo is Javea beach suitable for nudists (we have said that in Javea there are options for everyone!). Further south, between Javea and Moraira, is located the award-winning Granadella Beach, chosen as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
Whether you prefer sand or gravel beach, the privacy of the coves or more animated beaches, you will find in Javea your oasis. Enjoy Javea and its beaches and if you fall in love with the city and would like to stay here or come more often, do not hesitate and contact us, we will help you build your private paradise here!
